WNY Optics Golf Tournament recap

With over 300 golfers, three golf courses, and a tremendous amount of charity, this years tournament was better than ever. Mother nature provided her own hook with some afternoon thunderstorms, but the mood of the tournament was not dampened (even if some golfers were).

Esco's theme this year was "Rising to new heights" which translated into a drone drop delivery for golfers on each course. On select holes on each course, a specially modified quadcopter drone dropped a parachute containing a Esco goodie bag for each foursome.

Esco also sponsored the popular "Beat the Giant" contest which players had to get closest to the pin against former NY Giant Super Bowl winners Stephen Baker, Eric Dorsey and Lee Rouson. All three players interacted with participants regardless of NFL affiliations and we couldn't be happier with the relationships we've made with these exceptional athletes.

Our final contribution to this years fundraiser was a memorabilia silent auction which was a resounding success. Over 70 pieces of signed artwork and sports memorabilia ranging from Caddyshack, The Rat Pack and all major sport arenas were showcased. Generous bidders added thousands of dollars to the Golisano Childrens Hospital.
