Coating optical components is an important factor in our manufacturing process. The amount of light that passes through your optics and the light's reflection is directly related to the type and thickness of your coating. With the most precise and efficient equipment in the industry, Esco is able to custom coat any custom or catalog optic to satisfy your requirements.

Anti-Reflective

Anti-Reflective (AR) Coatings are designed to minimize natural back reflection. They consist of single wavelength, broadband, or multiple wavelength designs.

Beamsplitter Cubes

Coated prisms are cemented together to form beamsplitter cubes. Transmitted beam is neither displaced nor deflected, and they produce no ghost images.

Beamsplitter Plates

Coated BK-7 or S1-UV Fused Silica, beamsplitter plates are compact and withstand higher power than beamsplitter cubes.

Dielectric Max Reflectors (MAX R)

Used with lasers, MAX R coatings provide nearly complete reflection over a specific spectral range, absorbing negligible incident energy.

Reflective Coatings

Usually aluminum, silver, or gold, metallic coatings offer the best performance/cost ratio of any reflective coating. Several dielectric coatings are available as overcoats, to enhance reflectivity, durability, and/or longevity of the underlying metal.
