Bring your child to work day

What a fantastic day at Esco Optics as we wrapped up Bring Your Child to Work Day!

Harper and Maggie Steneken, alongside their friends Michael, Blake, Bryce, and special helper Ms. Struble, spent the day exploring the exciting world of optics and photonics. From learning about diffraction while building their own kaleidoscopes, to seeing how light refracts through optical components, the future of innovation was on full display.

They also got to see how our 3D printers help create production support tools—and, of course, some pretty cute animals too. A great day of learning, laughter, and inspiring the next generation of makers, thinkers, and problem-solvers. Since 1955, Esco Optics has proudly remained a family business, and as both the owner and their father, it was incredibly meaningful to see Harper and Maggie experience firsthand the company, the employees, and the fascinating world of optics that have meant so much to our family for generations.
