Got Power?!

Posted by Ron Schulmerich on

In an effort to lessen the impact of New Jersey’s unpredictable weather, Esco has chosen to be proactive in installing a 300kW generator that is our backup power source at 95 Chamberlain Road.  After the likes of hurricane Sandy and the recent winter storm Stella, we know that a contingency plan for power outages is a must! Our hope is that this addition will ease the effects of power outages during unexpected weather events!

The generator will provide Esco uninterrupted power to protect and maintain our production and computer systems.  This backup plan assures our customers have continued service and communication, as we are able to keep our manufacturing and administrative systems operational and available during severe weather occurrences.  Moreover, Esco has satellite offices in Rochester, NY and Vermont to further ensure constant connection with our customers.

Just recently, Rochester experienced extreme winds that caused 130,000 people and many of our fellow colleagues to be without power for 5+ days, forcing their businesses to close during the recovery process.  Rest assured, in the event of an extreme weather occurrence happening in New Jersey, Esco will be up and running.  The addition of the generator is just another example of Esco’s commitment to assuring its customers schedules and deliveries are met!
